Stringing

I use a MK4 with either a 0.25 or a 0.4 nozzle and primarily Jessie PETG. By altering filament overrides values I have reduced stringing artifacts somewhat, but stringing still exists.

I am on a quest to find the ideal combination of PrusaSlicer settings/overrides that will eliminate stringing. In Printables I see LOTS of photos/models that seemingly had no stringing artifacts.

What combination of PrusaSlicer settings do you use to eliminate stringing with Jessie PETG ?

Not interested in a discussion on stringing, as I have read the PrusaSlicer documentation, but it does not proved specific value that will eliminate stringing.

RE: Stringing

First of all try drying filament, this is very visible how it helps especially with PETG. Another option is trying other nozzles that have different properties and PETG is bit sticking to it that much.

Otherwise in the slicer try experimenting with different temperatures (±5C or try temperature tower, I'm usually around 240-245C), or wiping before travel or increasing z-hop a bit.

There will always be stringing, some filament versions string less ( transparent) but recently I tried a white filament and it is the most stringing I ever saw.

See my GitHub and printables.com for some 3d stuff that you may like.
