Link lost #35331 (CORE One L)
Just when you think you finally can't find any more bugs, Prusa never disappoints.
Crashed during a Print.

RE: Link lost #35331 (CORE One L)
Hi,
I have the same problem... Happened twice on the same (very expensive) 12h PA12-CF print. At the same point (around 190mm Z-axis). Support told me, that it happens on some printers and the dont know the cause. They said, they will send me a replacement unit. Sad story, but i hope they will solve it.

By unit, what exactly are they replacing?

RE: Link lost #35331 (CORE One L)
The whole printer... I suspect some hardware fault with the AC boards. I love the printer and the print quality, but this is just sad. I cannot rely on it.

RE: Link lost #35331 (CORE One L)
This is unbelievable, they can't diagnose their printers, they can't fix their printers. This only happened once and did not repeat so far.

RE: Link lost #35331 (CORE One L)
I believe they can't telepathically probe the electronics in the board to see which component is a culprit. That's why they send a replacement - the user gets a new device while they will take the device under special diagnose in the local lab.
For nme it seems like it is not a one off use case, but some batch of devices is affected and they are aware of it already.
Maybe it starts from time to time and gets more frequent?

Well my printer did it twice on the same model (different g-code) in nearly exactly the same z-height. Also the printer smells inside like burned acrylic. I think also its a bad batch.

RE:
That is what replacement parts are for. You replace the defective part and send it back, not the entire printer. Diagnostics vs Failure Analysis are different.

RE:
For all we know this is a firmware issue.
CS already tried to get me to replace the load cell because it was losing the Z reference and the nozzle would crash into the bed before the nozzle cleaning, many others had the same issue. This is a firmware bug, we finally got the start G code reference on github to be accepted until they figure it out. They finally made the update to the last C1L config update, Removing the Q until they figure out the firmware problem.

Did you power off and on the printer, not just a reset between the events?

Sorry you are dealing with this. Please let us know how it all goes.
Noticed your signature, 75C chamber temp. How hot have you gone?

RE: Link lost #35331 (CORE One L)
hm I remember setting G28 without Q really the same day when I got the printer, some weird things were happening with the quick home and I REALLY did not like the fact the bed gets down on filament change), but since setting it I have absolutely no issues with the printer with any red screens.

RE: Link lost #35331 (CORE One L)
Crash-o-matic at it again, appears to happen after printer has been on/printing for long period of time 20+hrs, atleast that is all I can correlate with 2 failures.
That really sucks... The worst is, that it happens on these long prints. Mine was about 12hrs, yours 20+. My print always failed around 90-95% which sucks even more. And it was from a really expensive material... My printer is ready to ship Back to prusa and i am waiting for the parcel company for pickup.
Ironically... My frankenstein core1 built from scrap and mk3.5 parts is printing everyday without any failure...
Did you contact the prusa support?

You already received the replacement C1L? I tried CS, but appears the indx release must have them busy. I sent an email, but will be contacting them by chat when the wait is short.

RE: Link lost #35331 (CORE One L)
Supposedly the C1L are delayed for weeks due to a nozzle issue. I wouldnt surrender the printer until I get the replacement.
