Would be nice to have a modifier available to block parts of a shape having the fuzzy skin added to.

This can already be done in PrusaSlicer, you may want to take some time and play with the modifiers, you can build all sorts of compound modifier scenarios. The example I posted on the first page can be reversed as easily as it was made.
