Z ax crashing in middle of print

My prusa MK3S crashed in the middle of a 20hrs print.

The printer is working good before, but after a view hours the nozzle runs into the printed job and gives a crash detection.

After this problem and when cleaned the nozzle and the bed the nozzle runs into the bed.

then I recalibrate the printer, calibrate the first layer, and the printer works well for a print or 2.

than the same problem comes back. running into a print and report a crasch detection.

can anyone help me with this problem.

regards,

Janko

Can you reproduce the symptom - does it have to be printing?  If you just let it sit with Z set to 100, does it drift on it's own after a few hours?

If your printer is new, I'd suggest this is beyond what a user forum can diagnose and you should contact Prusa support via the E-shop chat interface (you have to be logged in to see it)

If you recently flashed your printer's firmware consider reverting it to an older version that is known good.

Adhesion problems?

Clean the sheet with dishwashing detergent (Dawn/Fairy) and plenty of HOT water, rinse well and dry with a fresh paper towel. Handle by the edges only.

The nozzle clipping the print is often due to poor adhesion, one end lifts off the bed into the path of danger.

At the end of the calibration you are aiming to print a single layer *sheet*. It should be possible to peel it off in one and fold it without the threads seperating. If it breaks into lines it is too high, not squished enough. If it is a single sheet but with wavy lines or drag marks on it you are too low.

For most people it pays to use 7x7 mesh bed levelling.

Many beginners have problems with the built-in first layer calibration routine. There are alternatives, see this page by a regular poster here: http://projects.ttlexceeded.com/3dprinting_mk3_live_z_calibration.html

and look at this thread: https://forum.prusa3d.com/forum/original-prusa-i3-mk3s-mk3-assembly-and-first-prints-troubleshooting/life-adjust-z-my-way/

The problem is not wrapping from the bed. The nozzle looks to drop for a view mm and crashes into the printed object. The printed part is still stuck on the build plate.

Show us the bottom of a failed print.
