Nozzle leaking filament
Nozzle leaking filament as soon as I pre heat nozzle, it's a constant tiny flow. Any help please?
Thank you
RE: Nozzle leaking filament
Some small leakage is normal if you let the printer idle hot. Excessive leakage can be a symptom of a wet filament that has absorbed too much moisture from the air. (Typical for PVA, Nylon, ABS, PETG, not common in PLA).

Thank you for your reply, just purchased a food dehydrator to convert into a filament dryer, will give it a go......

I also notice that this varies from filament to filament even within the same type (e.g. PLA) too. I expect it has to do with the ideal melting point for the given filament.
I have some PLAs that will do this too me bad enough that I need to get it printing as soon as it's loaded. Others can sit idle at printing temp for an hour and nothing dribbles.
