Adding a 3rd Thermistor to a Prusa MK3S+

Hey everyone!

I was hoping someone had any experience with adding a new thermistor to the empty slot in the Einsy board, and whether the information from it could be displayed on octoprint/ the printer display itself.

I have made an enclosure for the printer and would like to place a thermistor towards the top of the printer frame for better accuracy of the internal temperature.

I ve already looked through the forum and online but have not managed to find any info on this except for a post mentioning that an ambient temperature sensor already exists, however when comparing it to an external sensor I have found that it does not reflect the temperature of the majority of the enclosure and would prefer this method if possible.

Thanks in advance!

You definitely would have to write your own firmware.
