Trouble with first layer PTEG

I'm currently trying to print the lack enclosure parts and am not having any luck. PLA seems to print just fine, but when I go to PTEG (Overture) I'm having trouble getting the first layer to stick. I have trouble with the first layer on these prints and other ones that I've designed. I just downloaded the gcode from prusa for the files I need to print for the enclosure and put them on an sd card and hit print. If I can baby sit the print and clean the nozzle for the first 2-3 layers the piece will print fine. The main problem I believe I am having is plastic is collecting on the nozzle as it prints and then makes a mess somewhere in my print eventually.

I originally thought my z axis was too low causing too much squish, but if I raise it any more it will not stick to the bed while printing.

I've tried bed temps from 80-90 and nozzle temps from 230-240. After 4 failed attempts this morning while tweaking settings, I'm at a loss... Thanks for your time

Hello and welcome to the Prusaforum!

First of all it is important that the printing bed has been cleaned with dishsoap and warm water and then dried with a lint-free cloth.
To set up the first layer this thread will help you: https://forum.prusa3d.com/forum/original-prusa-i3-mk3s-mk3-assembly-and-first-prints-troubleshooting/life-adjust-z-my-way/

This is exactly what the problem was. This method of z calibration is much better than the one the printer comes with. I got it dialed in with just two test prints. Thank you so much for the help.
