xyz calibration failed

Dear Prusa, I bought and assembled my printer about 2/3 months ago and it worked really well. When I intially calibrated it I got the "xyz calibration ok. x/y axes are perpendicular. congratulations!" message and was away printing. However, a couple of weeks ago I decided to recalibrate and got the message "xyz calibration failed. Please consult the manual". The nossle is clean and the pulleys dont slip. It was assembled properly (as it worked really well for weeks). I dont know how to fix the problem. Please can you help?

RE: xyz calibration failed

Hi pj,

I just assembled my new MK3S+. I had the same problem. LCD -> Support -> "XYZ cal. details" shows me a skew value of 0.28°, which means severly skewed.

After some adjustments I was finally at 0.39° lot more worse than before.

My solution was to update the firmware to firmware 3.9.3 RC1 which has a way better calibration algorithm. Without further adjustments I came from 0.39° down to 0.07° -> perpendicular assembled 😀

At least with the SuperPINDA this seems to work.

Best regards
Erdega
