First layer separates from steel plate when printing

Hello,

         I just assembled my brand new Prusa Mini. I am totally new to 3D printing. I am trying to print the Whistle model in the USB drive that came with it. It starts printing it and prints a first layer and then the plate starts moving a little more rapidly at which point the 1st layer separates from the steel plate and sticks to the nozzle.

        How do I solve this? I thought maybe raising the heatbed temperature may help. I raised it from 60 to 66 but still the same thing happened. Please help me fix this.

Thanks,

Milind

Hello and welcome to the Prusaforum!

It's important that the printing bed is clean before you start printing. To clean, use a grease-dissolving detergent, rinse with plenty of water and dry with a lint-free cloth. Then do not touch the printing surface with your fingers. If necessary, wipe with isopropanol.
The First Layer must also be well adjusted. Here is a good explanation:

good luck!

@milind-gupta

Great!
Did you carry out both procedures or was the cleaning of the printing bed sufficient?

I had cleaned it before as well. Did it again. Had to adjust the nozzle offset negative.
