dirty hot end

When my 3D printer mini+ is working, the melt of filaments will seep out from the hot end (the upper end of the nozzle), and after accumulation, it will drip onto the workpiece, which will seriously affect the printing quality. How to solve this problem?

RE: dirty hot end

Review nozzle installation instructions. Don't have a Mini but I believe there's a piece of PTFE tube involved which may need to be replaced/refitted.

RE: dirty hot end

Rebuild the hot end per Prusa's instructions:

https://help.prusa3d.com/guide/how-to-replace-a-heaterblock-heatbreak-mini-mini_122769

Get a silicone sock to cover the heatblock so burnt filament won't stick.

Regards,

Mark
