E3D V6 Plated Copper Nozzle PID adjustment?
On another printer, I print mainly PETG and have been happy with the performance of E3D's Plated (I think nickel) Copper Nozzle.
I'm interested in using the same on my MINI... so here's my issue:
I like to run a PID autotune if I change filament types or hotend components on my other printer running Marlin... but I'd like to keep the board warranty intact on the MINI... from what I understand the M500 command cannot be executed without breaking the "appendix" to allow unsigned firmware. I really don't want to autotune every time I turn on the MINI.
So... Do we think changing to the plated nozzle will work fine without an adjustment? Anyone tried this?
Thanks!

I don't have a Mini myself, but I'd try putting the desired PID values in startup gcode so they're loaded before every print.

The new Wordfence security plugin is blocking formatted posts for some reason, so here it is in plain text...

Although the Mini doesn't support M500 to save settings, has anybody determined whether auto PID tuning values are saved or not?

Can you view current settings using an M503 command issued via a serial connection?

If you do want to embed the appropriate values into your startup gcode, here's a sample from my Mk3:
