Weird Bridging

Hello together,

I have problems with Bridging. When my Bridge-Object has the thickness of only one layer, the path looks quit nice. However as soon as it contatins more than one layer, it gets messed up, and I get flying filament. I do not get, why the one layer from below is not always the first layer for my Bridge.

Does anybody know how to fix this?

Kind regards, Toni

Its not a problem with PS, its your model.  Look carefully at your 10 Metal part in your 2layer example.  That section starts below the level of the slopped sections on the inner and outer frames.  As such its printing in mid air as at that height its not connected to the other parts.  Its not until it gets to the next layer up that it touches them.

Here I've cut your model down the middle to highlight the issue

When it starts to print that section it isn't touching the other parts so this can not be bridged.  You would need support under all that area to print the model as designed.  That section needs moving upwards or the sloping walls need adjusting to connect to the bottom of that middle section.

Please save your SlicerProject and zip-compress the resulting 3mf file and post it (with the Attach file button below).

If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you.
