Suggestion: allow snap-to-base override

In FDM mode, Slicer auto-snaps the lowest surface of my model to the base plate. In SLA mode, slicer auto-snaps to 5mm above the base plate.

As a user, I'd like to be able to set the offset to a value between zero and X mm such that zero snaps the model's lowest surface to the base plate as normal, and such that any value greater than zero snaps the model's lowest surface to X mm above the base plate.

RE: Suggestion: allow snap-to-base override

This is a user to user forum. If you want to make suggestions then it needs to be on the appropriate github.  The Prusa Slicer one is here https://github.com/prusa3d/PrusaSlicer/issues

Good luck suggesting this one though.  Its already been suggested and argued about hundreds of times.  Since version 1.42, before it was even prusa slicer,  when the software was called Slic3rPE.  Its one of the most contentious threads on there.  https://github.com/prusa3d/PrusaSlicer/issues/1513
