Slicer refuses to start on layer one

Hi  folks. I have ran into a bug with pursaslicer that is pulling my hair out.

Up until a few days ago Pursaslicer was working fine. I am able to simply load in a model, pick face to go on the bed, then slice and save. However when this started happening when previewing the print before exporting it seems that the layer is starting on some randomly high position (based on the bottom timeline). I have search the net as best as I could to try and find what was going on. Even went as dratsitc to remove all the Prusa software and save files from my mac. However when setting up the slicer fresh it still does this stame thing.

I suspect your model has some edge too thin to print and so the lower layers are missing but still logically support the model above the plate.

Please save your project as a .3mf file

Files > Save Project as

Zip the .3mf and post it here. It will contain both your part and your settings for us to diagnose.

Cheerio,

RE: Slicer refuses to start on layer one

Perhaps you could provide a zipped up project file for users here to view? I recognize that this is difficult to do here but it could help.

Smart money is on @diem's diagnosis.
