PrusaSlicer 2.9.2, how to combine multi-object multi-material print into single material

I have a .3mf file composed of 3 objects abutting each other, apparently for multi-material printing.  I don't have a multi-material unit.

The original file has 4 parts; parts 2, 3, and 4 are a combined unit, and part 1 is separate.  I deleted part 1.  The remaining parts are contiguous, but don't fit on the print plate.  By selecting all 3 parts, shifting the position to the right, I can almost get it to fit.  By eliminating the skirt, and turning off the dimension lock and adjusting the x size to 249mm and fine-tuning the position, I can get it to fit (Rivian_Drawer_3Objs_NoSkirt.3mf).

Is there an easy way to combine these 3 objects into one?

Aside: When sliced there are "interesting" key-like perimeters where the 3 objects join.  What are those?

Select all the models then right click on it and choose Merge to merge the parts into a single object. This treats it as 'one single thing' so you don't get the bordering perimeters of separate things'.

The key-like perimeters are likely the holes for connecting rods since the design was originally in parts.

The other weird perimeter lines you get on the inside are from the parts having a tiny separation area because they are not perfectly lined up, you can see a 'bump' along the other perimeters walls as well.
