Inaccessibility of Arrange Option in due to Painted Supports
When attempting to arrange selected objects on the build plate within the PrusaSlicer, I encounter a situation where the "Arrange" option remains grayed out and inaccessible. This issue arises specifically when the previously selected object has undergone slicing with painted supports. Consequently, the functionality to arrange selected objects becomes unavailable until the painted supports are deleted. Once the painted supports are deleted, the "Arrange" option resumes normal functionality.
This bug disrupts the workflow, requiring an additional step of removing painted supports before arranging objects on the build plate. This issue warrants attention from the development team to rectify the underlying cause and restore seamless functionality to the arrange feature within PrusaSlicer.

Its funny but I can arrange parts after painting them. Have been able to since painted support became an option. I am running the windows version.
What you do have to be aware of is that you can not use arrange while any of the tools on the left are active. So Move, scale, rotate, PAINT etc. You just have to deactivate the tool. You do NOT need to remove the supports you have painted.

That's actually a neat trick! Thanks for sharing. I tried it out myself, and you're absolutely right. It's quite handy to know that you can arrange parts after painting them. Deactivating the active tool on the left before using the arrange function maked it smooth sailing. Thanks again for the tip!
