Imperial Check

Hi,

I'm new (two weeks) to the 3d world and really know very little of the technology and the nomenclature, so please bear with me.

I design (model) in Siemens NX in imperial (inches), when importing an SLT file, Slicer (2.4.1) would ask if I wanted to calculate from metric to inches.

However, my last import only brings my SLT file in the metric format with no question of units preference.

I can't find the setting I must have turned off...can someone point me in the right direction.

Much Thanks!

You always have the option to import in imperial units on the file menu.

Cheerio,

Thanks so much!

I did even look under the file/import assuming it would not yield any favorable answers.

Thanks again, be safe

RE: Imperial Check

I can design in Metric and it is scaled wrong in Prusa. I can design in inches and it is scaled wrong in Prusa. I either have to set the scale factor to 1000 or 39.37 depending on what pops up. I installed PrusaSlicer with the imperial option as well as metric, I wonder if there is a bug there. Maybe a devious plot to convert the US away from Imperial...
