How can you remove the brim ?

Hi,

it looks like I can't completely remove the brim.

When I change it to "no brim" and slice again, it puts again a brim. Is that a bug ?

Please save your project as a .3mf file

Files > Save Project as

Zip the .3mf and post it here. It will contain both your part and your settings for us to diagnose.

Cheerio,

That ring around it is a skirt which is not the same as a brim, but they are on the same page in the slicer. You can set 'Skirt loops' to zero to get rid of it. But personally I prefer printing the skirt. It doesn't affect the print object in any way, but it gives the hot end a little running start for extruding and a last chance to clear wobbles or blobs before the actual print starts.

@sylviatrilling is correct. The skirt is sometimes useful to help the first layer stick if there is a cool draft.

You are using 0.1mm detail print settings, that part would probably be stronger at 0.2mm.

Cheerio,
