Organic Support Brim under object

I have the situation, that the organci support brim  will be generated under the boundaries of my model I want to print. Even if I add a XY-Distance of 3 mm it does not move away on slicing. Is this a bug or a feature? I use PrusaSlicer 2.9 but observed also on earlier releases. It there a way to avoid it?

RE: Organic Support Brim under object

Your part is not flat to the bed.  All that area that is blue is bridging so of course the support expansion goes under it.  Use the place to bed tool if you can.  As that whole surface is not attached to the bed your part will have very poor bed adhesion too.  Use the layer slider on the preview to show only the first layer and you will see what I mean.

It may be that the object is badly designed and not flat on that surface so the place to bed might not work.  If thats the case you can trim it very slightly.  If you want help with any of this we are going to need your project.

Please save your prusa slicer project file (File>Save Project As) , take the resulting 3mf file, ZIP it up and attach it here.  Must be zipped or the forum will just silently drop the file.

Many thanks to your keen diagnosis. It helps me to find the error easily! As I have built this model and now will flatten the surface, so that it can be placed fully on the bed. I think the problem is solved.
