Hi Ken,
you seem to have attached links for two copies of the Gcode and No STL...

RE: Hollow .stl generated as .gcode with a blocking layer
I’ve got an apparent problem with PrusaSlicer. Starting with an .stl file that
is intended/designed to be a hollow curved tube, and looks hollow both with F5and F6 rendering in OpenSCAD, PrusaSlicer generates .gcode that containsa level layer blocking the tube (i.e. it is no longer hollow).Background:OS XUsing OpenSCAD 2019.05PrusaSlicer-2.2.0+When I import the .stl into PrusaSlicer, it initially looks hollow.But after slicing, one end of the tube (the end with the widerdiameter) is blocked with a solid layer. The blockage is apparentin the visual rendering of the .gcode, and when I actually try to printit out.The .stl file can be seen here:The .gcode can be seen here:In PrusaSlicer, using File > Repair STL file…does not seem to help (unless I’m somehow misunderstanding how to use it).What’s my next step?Thanks,Ken
Try to repair yout STL file with one of these tools:

I'm working with netfabb (Autodesk account required).

Meshlab is also a good .STL file repair tool. Kind of a Swiss Army Knife of corrections.

Sorry. I gave two pointers to the .gcode file. The .stl file can be seen at

@jsw
I totally agree, but it won't run on my laptop with an internal graphics card (Intel HD 3000); tested with version 2020.07. netfabb has the advantage that it can be used online.

RE: Hollow .stl generated as .gcode with a blocking layer
Hah! I had assumed naively that the .stl was OK, and that the problem was with the generation of .gcode.
However, the online Netfabb fixed the .stl file, and now everything looks great. Can't wait to print it.
Many thanks to all who responded!
