Finding a layer
I know how to add a pause for a color change. But how can I find the precise layer where I want to place a pause? I have placed raised lettering on a box lid, but I can't tell where to begin my second color for the lettering. I find the right-hand slider to be confusing.
Any help? Thanks.

You are on the correct path. You need to get the slider to the correct layer. Use the arrow keys on your keyboard. You can move the slider up an down that way.
Click on the slider to activate it, then use the up and down arrows.
If you click on the bottom slider, you can move it with the left and right arrows.
