Color change text in first layer
I'd like to imbed text/logo/watermarks in the first layer of some of my prints in a different color than the rest of the model. I've used the emboss text to make negative space, but cannot get it to create tool paths where I can add a color change to. It seems like the "join" and "modify" options on the text settings don't actually do anything. Does anyone have some input to help me get this working?
I've gone so far as to download a couple models where others are doing something similar (like color change text on MK4 LCD covers), but they accomplish this a single letter at a time. This method doesn't suit when trying to print things like "Merry Christmas" in anything but capital block letters.
