Converting colorFabb print specifications for PrusaSlicer

Dears,

More generically: would someone tell me what values from the colorFabb printing specifications I should plug in where in PrusaSlicer to get the required results?

well it would help if you at least included a link to whatever the colorFabb printing specifications you mention actually are.  My psychic powers are a bit depleted at the moment 🙂

Don't worry. My psychic powers are none better than yours.

Now, for example, for allPHA Natural, I have

Advised 3D printing temperature 190-200C*

Advised 3D print speed 40 - 80 mm/s

Advised heated bed Cold bed advised + 3DLac + Brim

Density 1.24 g/cm3

Cooling fan 100% cooling.

and I have no problems understanding any of these. I can even put in the density, the cooling parameters, and the desired print temperature without a problem. I cannot put in the speed because PrusaSlicer doesn't have any simple mm/s speed setting that I can see. It does have maximum volumetric speed setting, but that's not the actual speed that I want. I might be able to set a speed manually with a G code, but that's a constant and that would be it.

What am I missing?

The speed settings are part of the Print settings , not filament settings.  Print Settings > Speed.  I'll ask a possibly stupid question, you are in advanced or expert mode aren't you ?  If you are in Simple mode then the vast majority of settings wont be visible/available to you.

There are no stupid questions here, yet (not even mine, although it was a little psychically formed). I have the expert mode on, and I wasn't specifically looking in print settings because I was trying to create a filament profile.

Given that the speed is not a property of the filament but of the—print, am I stuck creating different print profiles, as well, for specific filaments? And, given the overwhelmingly generous printing advice from colorFabb, should I just use the speeds for print moves that PrusaSlicer gives and reduce those that exceed colorFabb's range? And finally, with the IS firmware, the temperatures for many filaments bumped up significantly in PrusaSlicer, while colorFabb's advice predates the IS firmwares. Should I use colorFabb's temperatures or make a poor guess at the correct, higher, temperature?
