Commutate fillament consumption

write the weight of your new roll,  say the gross weight is 1255 grams,  for a 1kg roll,  then you know the roll weight is in the region of 255 grams.  then at any time, you can weigh the remainder,  and subtract 255 grams, to estimate the remaining filament.

If the filament is Prusament, then the gross weight of the roll is recorded on their website (Accessible with the QR code on the side of the roll.)
regards Joan

After a while you can guess the spool weight and get a pretty good estimate of the spool weight, delete the spool weight from the remaining gross weight and you have your remaining filament.

I also used to write TALC, on the side of TPU rolls, to remind me that it sticks like crazy to PEI...

I rub talcum powder into the surface and wipe the excess off, to reduce adhesion!

You mean compute filament consumption?

Prus only prints info used filament in meters or grams in bottom right corner just over the Slice/Export Gcode button.

But it does not have a feature to guess how you use your filament.

I would say this is out of scope of the app, because you can do it with other tools like spreadsheet, which works better if you have different spools and different printers.

See my GitHub and printables.com for some 3d stuff that you may like.
