Printing with 0.25 nozzle--Printer preset dependency and any other tips?
I have a need to print a small intricate part (about 20x10x15 mm) and thought it would be better to use a 0.25 nozzle. Ordered one from Printed Solid, arrives tomorrow.
Edited a copy of the 0.20 BALANCED Print Settings to use 0.10 height layers (after 1st), and then edited the HF0.4 printer setting to change it to 0.25 nozzle and non-HF. Returning to the plater tab, the new 0.10 BALANCED print settings are not in the dropdown. Looking further, found the settings say they are dependent on the HF0.4 printer setting. Question: Why are they dependent? This dependency is easy to remove, but I don't want to discover there was another dependency beyond the HF0.4 nozzle that causes a print failure. I'd appreciate any insights anyone has.
Any other tips or settings I should be aware of using a 0.25 nozzle? Plan to use PCTG filament.
Thanks in Advance!

The correct way to do this is to go to the Configuration Assistant and select the 0.25mm nozzle for the Core One. This will then setup the correct profiles.

Doh, forgot all about that. Was wondering why there wasn't a 0.25 setting already.
