Latest Firmware Update 6.5.3 Core One
I have just updated the firmware to Latest Firmware Update 6.5.3 and now every time I start a print I am told that loaded filament is detected even though no filament is loaded. The only way to get rid of the message is to tell it to unload the "imaginary" filament. It then goes through the motions of unloading the said "imaginary" filament complete with the progress bar and then proceeds to start the print. Is anyone else having this problem?

I can only guess that perhaps there is a piece of broken filament or debris triggering the sensor. I very much doubt this is a firmware issue. Try running the filament sensor calibration. Perhaps you are getting a false reading.

Hi, thanks for your reply but as the print starts and completes after it has gone through the motions of removing filament there surely can't be any filament stuck in the extruder or it wouldn't start the print. I will try running the filament sensor calibration and see what happens. I have a Mk4 that I have updated the Firmware and that runs perfectly and this problem only started after updating the firmware.

No broken filament or debris triggering the sensor, did a filament sensor calibration as you suggested. Problem gone, not sure why it happened but hey that's 3d printing for you. Thanks for your help.
