Since I can't edit a post, here is some additional info. I had two PolyDryer units. I tested both and included some of the Serial # to identify each. So you'll see 4 plots for the PolyDryer, 2 from each unit. They were purchased a few months apart. The humidy sensor in them is accurate but it reads very high while drying due to the heated, moist air. It is accurate about 2 hours after heating is turned off and the seals are reinserted into the base of the case.

NOPE. There is a comment a ways down that sums it up. Hot spots! Microwave heating is not even, and depends on the water content of the material. It could develop hot spots. If you are someone who characterizes their dryer with thermocouples, double NOPE. Have some patience. Get a dryer that holds a few spools and plan ahead to dry what you are using the next day or two at the recommended settings.

I just posted this as an amusing article. For myself I use the Creality Pi X4 which can handle Nylon which is my primary filament at the moment. Need to pick up an air fryer to use as an annealer since I'm currently using my (expensive) SMD reflow oven...

I purchased a food dehydrator instead of a dedicated dryer and store my filament in sealed boxes with desiccant.  Keep humidity around 15% at 22 degrees.  What I have read, if you need to dry higher temperature filaments with a dryer that won't go the recommended temperature, you just need more time.  Post drying storage is more important.  Take filament out of dryer and put into  storage bin.  I just purchased a Sterilite brand of storage bin that has seals in the lid already and it seems to work pretty good.  Nice solid snaps on the lid.

Yeah storage is important. Once my filament is dry and I am not printing with it, I keep it in a ClipLok box with bags of desiccant.
