You guys have reaffirmed why I almost never install non GA builds of the firmware. I've built and run prusaslicer a few times, but I stay well clear of doing it for the fw.
For me the printer is a side-hobby so it's fun to live on the edge. If I were running a business, then of course I would stay away from a non-release firmware. At least Prusa allows downgrading back to the previous version. I have telescope control hardware where once you upgrade, you can't go back (easily).

Words cant describe how much I hate this practice.
Apple, DJI, etc suck for this, but otherwise make great products.

It's a side hobby for me too. Though since I have three printers now(all prusa) you might be forgiven for thinking I use them for business purposes 🙂 I just like having stable things. I tend to jump at new firmware releases because historically they've solved issues for me. The XL is a prime example. I was one of the first ones to preorder and it's taken many firmware updates to make it pretty reliable. Both my coreone and MK4s started as MK3S'es lol it's been a journey. I'm still out on whether I like the core one or not.

I'm like... "Oooh, shiny"
I have my eye on the Snapmaker U1. Once it's been out in the wild for 6 months, it lives up to the hype and the Core One INDX turns out to be vaporware then the Core One is going up for sale.

regarding the belt tuning assistant, wouldn't it be easier to just tune to the strobes, until you get max resonance for the belts at their frequencies?
