Weird first layer pattern

Printing with ASA, other prints seem fine. However this particular job came out with a weird first layer. Multiple parts were in this single print, all came out with the same first layer appearance. Any ideas?

Yes, that's one of these things:

  • Mesh bed levelling "failed" and set the nozzle too close to the build plate.
  • Extrusion Multiplier or first layer temperature is too high, causing too much filament flow and a similar effect to the nozzle being too close

In the end, the nozzle is pressing into the laid down filament, causing such patterns.

Seems to have resolved itself after a reprint
