Z-Banding on Tall Smooth Prints
I was finally able to get a print to complete on my XL 5T, but seems like there are some z-banding artifacts on the print (photo below).
During assembly the rear left side heated bed frame mount didn't line up perfectly with the heated bed (photo below), but the frame need to be pushed outwards about 2 mm for the holes the line up. Did anyone have this issue? I contacted support and they said it was correct to force the frame to meet the bed's hole position. I'm unclear if this would introduce some unwanted forces in how the heated bed is constrained and cause the Z-axis banding I ended up with. Anyone else seeing anything similar?

There's thread about potentially installing zsteppers incorrectly and this thread about bent ball screw rod causing banding.

RE: Z-Banding on Tall Smooth Prints
Everything is assembled as directed with the rotating frame on the right. I doubled checked the z-axis screws and they are straight. There is next to no movement of the screw carrier as the bed traverses the range of the z-axis. Maybe its an extruder temperature issue, I'll update if I figure this out.
