1.7 rcx install failure
Good Afternoon, I have had my SL1S for approximately a week and want to try the features in the 1.7 firmware, specifically the vat cleaning function. Elegoo has one on the Mars 2 Pro and it's pretty handy. When I enable the "beta" slider in firmware menu it immediately downloads and installs 1.7rc4. After firmware update completion and a reboot the printer hangs on the initialization screen. The only way I can recover back to 1.6.6 is to either do the emergency USB or the power on/power off three times backdoor. Has anyone successfully been able to do upgrade to 1.7? Which method seems to be the most successful. I imagine 1.7 must be close to release. I hope. Thanks in advance.

I have not, attempting a half-dozen times; it always hangs on the initialization screen.

I contacted customer support and just got an email back from them. Officially it's a bug in the beta, which will be fixed prior to the official version release. In the meantime, we "can keep using the 1.6.6 version".

How were you able to reset it? what is the emergency USB or Power On/Off method? My SL1S is stuck in the initialisation screen since installing 1.7 B4.
