Sequential Printing using MMU3

Hi all,

I recently assembled the MMU3 upgrade for my Prusa MK4. So far I've had no big issues, but today I was trying to print two similar parts, each of their own unique color of PLA on the same sliced file. To try and minimize tool changes and save time, I immediately thought to turn on sequential printing, but was faced with an error saying "The wipe tower is currently not supported for multimaterial sequential prints." I saw that by disabling the wipe tower, the part successfully sliced, but am concerned with what will actually happen when I print with two filaments without using the wipe tower.

I am aware I could just have two different print files, but I was curious if anyone has been able to successfully sequentially print with the MMU3 and what settings have you changed which have made it work?

I think adding a 10mm brim will wipe out the previous filament color

RE:

The brim did not work at least in PrusaSlicer since it make all brims at first layer, but adding a 1-layer cylinder shape with a diameter of 10 mm in the meddle does the trick.

So, add your 1st object on the front corner and the second object on the opposite far corner and add the 1 layer 10 mm cylinder in the middle (obviously with the same filament color as the last object).

Good luck
