Polymaker Polydissolve S1

Hello, 🙂

I am trying Polymaker's Polydissolve S1(PPS1) and I'm struggling with it.  I have successfully used Verbatim's BVOH.  I have broken PPS1 whilst trying to load it twice and it broke a third time on a material change between the Multi Material unit and the filamant buffer. PPS1 surface is rough.

Is it possible to slow the speed of the Pulley motor on the MMU unit when filament is being unloaded from the nozzle?  If so, how do I achieve this in Prusa Slic3r?

Thanks in advance for your help. 😊

You can set various speeds here:

or use stealthmode.

Another way you should be able to solve the problem is to let the spool absorb a little bit of moisture to let the filament get tougher. Maybe your spool is "too" dry which makes it brittle.

Hi, does the Polydissolve S1 works well with the MMU2S now?
