Probelm with Mk2->Mk3 kit!!
While printing the first part for my kit to go from mk2->mk3 the print came off the bed and got stuck to the hot end and ruined it.
Since I have a new 24v hotend for the mk3 can I buy a 12v Heater cartridge and swap it out with the 24v one to be able to print the parts for the mk3?
The only other options I can think of are paying someone to print all the parts or getting a whole new 12v hot end both of which seem needlessly expensive.

Yes
Just buy a 12volt heater.
The rest of the extruder is comparible
