Printing a 100% TPU part without changing filament?

Hello,

I print from time to time some part with low shoreA (70, 80). I'm interested in the MMU2S for other purposes. Then if I have the MMU2S on my printer installed because I want it, would a 100% TPU part without changing filament would be affected? If yes what can run me into troubles?

As I understand the system, it should be trouble free as once the filament is engaged in the hotend, the behavior is the same as for a printer without MMU2S.

I ask to owners before buying.

you can try re calibrating the feed for the mmu2 Feeds, to cater for the flexibility of the TPU, they will probably need to feed a little lomget than more rigid filaments.

Glad to hear that.

I also read (somewhere in this forum) that I can simply disconnect the last PTFE tube and engage directly in the extruder the flexible filaments to quickly bypass the MMU2S.

I will certainly purchase one in a near future.
