MMU2 moves to next Filament Location

On the start of every new job. It's getting quite frustrating to say the least. Anyone else having this same problem and/or come up with a solution?

thanks

Are all your sensor work correctly?  Menu. Support/Sensor Info.

Is your Filament sensor enable? Menu Settings/Filament Sensor

Is Spool Join off?

Good Luck, JT

I think I get why spool join would affect it, but can it have an effect even if spools don’t run out?  Mine seems to get ‘lost’ as to what it is on- the light and the selector don’t sync…

I have been having a lot of issues with the MMU2 as of late. Like you, mine gets lost like yesterday for example. I have a print set up on Filament 3 and it just sits at Filament 1 with the light blinking on Filament 3 (waiting to load)..

Exactly.  And during start up, it doesn't seem to want to run a 'where am I'bang on the ends calibration.  The physical demons I can address, its the electronic ones that have me scatching my head.  It is 'inconsistent' in what it does- when I'm not changing anything.  Really infuriating because I had the physical issues largely addressed.  I have a video channel now on youtube, I'll try to post some start-up and error sequences.
