Big issue with filament change

I am having many problems with filament change and soluble onterface setting

I have found that before the unload the printer switches already to the nozzle temp for the next filament to load.

With filaments with different temps this is a big issue and since I am using both Pla and Pva, this causes Pva to get stuck during the unloading process within a print.

Could someone fix prusaslicer for this bad behaviour?

I'm still using my script for that. No sign from PR to implement it in Slic3r yet.

@nikolai-r

Thank you for your answer I tried to go to your post and download the links (some of them are 404) you give but I got errors while trying to run.

Could you please update the links (windows 10 OS)?

Most recent downloads can be always found on Github

You will always have outdated links in a forum. I just tried with the precompiled Wind10 version and most recent PrusaSlicer and it still works everything fine. Please check your configuration and provide some screenshots of the configuration/issues.

Hello Nikolai-r, it definitely works. The main point was that it caches an error in case no file is passed as anargument. It is more than fine in this way and I am both looking forward to using it with many different filaments and pushing this feature to prusa slicer developers.

Why not to avoid always printing some interface filament on first layer? To me first layer does not need interface and using PVA on it is a completely waste of time and money.

thanks, you di a great work.

Hi Michele,

as I announced in another post, this sounds an interesting improvement,  so I will add this feature directly in my PrusaSlicer 2.1 "Dribbling" version, so that in addition to the perfect shapes it will be able to handle different filament and different temperatures.
