UPDATE: this see our latest Slic3r 1.38.3, which is currently in beta stage: https://shop.prusa3d.com/forum/software-f13/slic3r-1-38-3-1-38-2-prusa-edition-beta-testing-t6899.html#p48243
Hi guys,
new build of Slic3r PE was just posted as part of the drivers 1.9.0! There are new features including Multi Material print, where all available filaments are extruded on the heatbed in the beginning to verify they are properly loaded. User is asked via printer's LCD to make a visual check of printed filaments. There are also several bug fixes and changes in the code (transition from Perl to C++). See the full the changelog on the driver's page.

Re: Slic3r 1.37.1 - Prusa Edition
That's an awesome version. I like the bridging angle override (I've been waiting for it for so long).
In the modifiers, when you click on "+", do all the options that appear (layers and perimeters, speeds, infills... ) work or, like in the previous versions of slic3r, they are only some that can be changed ?
Thank you for this great work.

Hi Cyrille,
so far the modifiers were working for me, which ones aren't?
Thanks for your kind words, I will forward this to our devs 😉

Re: Slic3r 1.37.1 - Prusa Edition
In this previous post, bubnikv told me that I couldn't change temperature, speed even though slic3r offers it. http://shop.prusa3d.com/forum/software-f13/is-it-possible-to-set-different-infil-density-for--t4744.html#p34870
So is this not the case anymore ? Can I now change everything that is listed ?

Re: Slic3r 1.37.1 - Prusa Edition
Just downloaded the MAC version of 1.9.0
It seems the mk2mm version of the .ini file is either misnamed, or is for 1.8.0.
Any advices given are offered in good faith. It is your responsibility to ensure that by following my advice you do not suffer or cause injury, damage or loss. If you solve your problem, please post the solution…

Hi Aaron,
thanks for letting me know, I will check it 😉
EDIT: # generated by Slic3r 1.37.1-prusa3d-win64 on Fri Sep 15 17:08:47 2017, so it looks like it is just incorrect naming of the file, however, the settings are the latest.

That is still the case, they cannot be overridden even though Slic3r offers it, sorry.
As usual, it is best to enter an issue into the issue tracker:
https://github.com/prusa3d/slic3r/issues
Someone has to go through all the overridable parameters and verify whether they are working 🙂
Re: Slic3r 1.37.1 - Prusa Edition
Hi,
I would like to ask a bit of this version and possibly for the future releases, will slic3r prusa edition compatible with generic printer out there?
My reason to ask is that, since this version, I actually tried with my custom printer. To my surprise is that there are few g-codes added by the slic3r prusa edition only relevant to the original prusa printer line, for example priming the extruder by laying down a long line across the heatbed.
I actually unsure whether to ask this thing in this thread and forum or in the github issues page.

Our Slic3r is supposed to be compatible with other printers. If you have some issues, please post them into the github issue tracker.
