Vertical artifacts

I am getting these vertical artifacts on my prints. Would greatly appreciate if somebody could tell me where these origin from.

Re: Vertical artifacts

Thats where the perimeter starts and stops. Most slicers allow you to pick where to have them. Usually you can choose the rear of the print, or a 90 degree corner to help hide them. You can sometimes tell if its bigger at the beginning of the perimeter, or at the end. There is also a randomize option that should disperse them more to make them less noticeable because they wont be lined up together.

You can play with retraction and coast settings a bit. I find that nearly any print will have them at least a little bit.
