Bed Thermister

Does anyone know if the proper heated bed thermister is available from Digi-Key?

Re: Bed Thermister

I believe it is a Semitec 100K thermistor,

I don't see Semitec on the Digikey website

A quick search found it on Amazon.
The one I have has a broken lead. That "leads" (pun intended) to the question: can I solder the lead and expect the thermister to work?

Re: Bed Thermister

as long as the lead is visible from the thermistor bulb, you can re solder it for the heatbed

the heatbed usually only reaches about 100 centigrade,
solder has a higher melting point.

for hot end thermistors you are better using a crimp tube than solder
