Wrong print - filament
Hello,
When I do a Standard Prusa Figure (pre-determinated) Print there is no problem and the filament is evenly applied and the figure creation is perfect (Well formed). Now, I have designed a part by SOLIDWORKS and it has been exported to G-CODE to be able to print it and this is the result (Shown below). The filament is removed because of the steam movement and it is not uniform. Can someone help me? The machine is calibrated.
Thank you in advance.
RE: Wrong print - filament
Hi,
from the picture it isn't very clear if the issue is due just to a first layer too high or due the shape of the part.
try lowering the nozzle a bit.
also, can you post a clear picture of the part?
in any case, check out this article if you missed it 😉
I'm not an expert. Ma parlo anche italiano 😉

I have no clue what you mean by “steam movement”. Just from the picture I’d say your machine is far from calibrated correctly. Live Z looks WAY off. Try this method instead of the built-in inferior approach: https://forum.prusa3d.com/forum/original-prusa-i3-mk3s-mk3-assembly-and-first-prints-troubleshooting/life-adjust-z-my-way/
Why the other print worked, who knows. It’s 3D printing after all…

@fuchsr
Sorry, there was a mistake. I'd like to say "Stem/nozzle movement".
