Prusa I3 MK3 sudden pitting in prints

Does anyone have any ideas what to do about pitting in prints? I have printed about 40 parts then all of a sudden the below started happening. Some parts are worse than others but all have this issue. I thought bad filament roll so I changed to another roll and same issue. Changed to another roll and part that I had recently printed and the same isssue. I noticed that my slicer and firmware were behind so I updated but still the same issue..... This happens on two different printers so I am not sure what it might be... the second printer I just replaced the heat bed so it has never printed any of these parts without the pitting but the other printer printed 40 or so then it just started so not sure why the repaired printer is also doing it if its the same gcode that worked before.... sooooo frustrating.

Thanks for any help.

That looks like a feed issue.  Got any slight clicks occasionally when you print ?  I mean it could be your retraction but if you haven't changed anything settings wise then its not likely to be that.  Check first for a partial clog on your nozzle.  If thats clear then make a note of the idler tension screw position and then open the extruder door.  Check the feed gears and clean out any filament residue in the teeth that could be reducing grip.  Then tighten it back up and make sure the filament tension is good.

Basically you are looking for anything that could be causing filament feed issues.

No clicking can be heard but I took both apart cleaned and just made sure of no clogs. STILL the same thing random pits.... not sure what to do next but I need these printers to print to finish up this job.

@doodadsondemand

I'm not clear on what you mean by 40 parts, whether you mean 40 of the same parts or 40 different parts. however I would consider the wall thickness, and the extrusion width in the areas in question, if you haven't already. I have predominantly seen this happen with PETG although you have not mentioned what your printing with at what temps, dry or not and have provided no .3mf file exported from PruseSlicer for us to look at the settings your using let alone brand of filament, firmware version, or printer model.

Good Luck

P.s. I would  also have mentioned changing the Nozzle but you didn't mention how old it is or how many hours are on it.

Did you resolve this? Similar issue randomly across most layers.

It was the filament once I switched it stopped doing it. I am not sure what was wrong with the filament since it was 4 brand new rolls of hatchbox purchased from Amazon. I think the purchasing from Amazon was the issue.
