Issue printing simple 3 part design

Hey guys,

I'm trying to print the following simple cutter I designed consisting of 3 individual parts.

The screenshot was taken while trying to slice using sequential printing. I'd like to use sequential printing because it failed twice printing it "regularly"

I attached the project file: cutter_sequential

Could someone explain to me why it is not possible to print the 3 parts sequentially ? - I feel like it should be possible with the MK3S+ I trying to print it on and I followed the sequential printing guide.

Would be super happy about any help/input !

Thanks guys

Chris

RE: Issue printing simple 3 part design

I can't claim to be a real expert on sequential printing but whenever I used it I found that the Height setting for Extruder clearance seems to be the opposite of what the knowledgebase page set (or I totally misunderstand the explanation). At least in my hands it's not the distance of nozzle and x-axis rod but the height of the tallest part. So in this case, if you set Height to 135mm, it will slice fine. I usually set it to quite a bit higher than the tallest object.

On a different note, I'm not sure why this print would fail in regular print mode. The thin, tall object may require a brim to stay in place, though.
