Complete individual objects above specified Z height

Is there a way to add a modifier such that individual objects are completed after a specified layer height? I don't think there is, but want to make sure and see if the community has any ideas on how to accomplish that.

Thank you,

Dan

It's trivial to cut the top off a part and discard the upper section ...

What are you trying to do?

Cheerio,

RE:

I don't want to discard the tops. "Complete individual objects" is an option in the slicer and I would like to "check the box" about 3/4 of the way up the part. I noticed the tops look better when "Complete individual objects" is turned on, but I can't fit as many parts on the bed due to clearance issues if I use "Complete individual objects" for the whole print. I'm still trying to dial in settings to reduce imperfections and hopefully won't need that functionality. Just a thought and wanted to see if it would improve the quality.

I notice a limited set of print settings can be changed using modifiers. I was originally going to add a modifier box covering the top 25% and turn on "Complete individual objects" but it wasn't an option. Is it possible to switch all print settings starting at different layer heights?

I don't believe you can do that in the slicer currently.  I also do not recall seeing that as a feature request on the Prusa Slicer github either.
