Burns and gaps on otherwise good quality print

I printed a self watering planter that didn't require supports and that several people had no trouble with ( https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2100029). 0.4 nozzle, 0.2 mm layer as per instructions. Printed on MK3S+

The bottom part had burn marks and gaps close to the base. The top part had small burns but it was a long print (about 4 hours) so probably to be expected. As the rest of the print turned out great I would appreciate suggestions as to what could cause this.
