Best Way of Changing Filament
What's the best way of changing from a high temperature to a low temperature filament? Do I keep the extruder at the high temperature and just pump in the PLA until it comes out properly? How would I best then clean out the PLA that was heated to 260deg for example in the extruder. Should I unload and load again at PLA temps or are there any better tips?
Thanks

It's a bit fiddly, but when going from Taulman Bluprint to a generic PLA on my older 3d printer (and I'd see no reason not to do the same on the MK3), I'd unload the old filament, run some eSUN cleaning filament (claims to be good for 180-280C) in at the high temperature, stop, cool down to the PLA temperature and run a bit more, then switch to PLA. I'd probably only use 15-20 cm in the whole operation.
Re: Best Way of Changing Filament
ive gone 210ish to 250ish without much problems, granted only 10 filament change layers. but still worked ok without any real issues. some boogers, but not as bad as a 3 year old 😀 more like a 10year old 😀
I have a Prusa,therefore I research.

Thanks for the tips - never heard of the cleaning filament so I'll have to look that up!
