Filament not adhering along periodical diagonal lines, others are fine

If you look at the circle on the bottom right, you'll see what I mean. Some diagonals, about 2-4 lines wide, are much weaker than others, to the points of not depositing filament at all. My first layer before this was great. This print (some tabletop minis) was sliced in Cura, I ran at my normal temps for PLA (205-195, with bed temp 60), 0.1mm layer height, speed 12.5mm/s for first layer, used Cura's tree supports and a brim. The bed was cleaned well with IPA beforehand. What could be causing this pattern?

For the record, I unsuccessfully tried a PETG print before this but had to give up, adhesion was an issue. Changed filament, but had an odd problem - when I switched back to PLA, the filament kept on loading, wouldn't stop feeding through. Had to do a reset. Also, I had an issue with bed levelling which isn't fully resolved. Using the "Live Z my way" calibration square I noticed that my nozzle started off a touch too close to the bed at the front right corner, was perfect ion the middle, then got too far in the rear left to the point where there were clear gaps between lines. You can't see it too well here, I can try to get a clearer photo after work. This is with z-adjust at -0.725 for the whole square.

Prusa tech support suggested I use the bed correction in the menu but I haven't seen any real improvement despite some fiddling. That method doesn't give control in the areas I need, only front, back, right, left. No corner control.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
