Zeroing/Adhesion Problem
Hi all,
We're currently having some problems with first-layer calibration. As a background, we first noticed that part of our PLA prints were not adhering to the print bed. It has since gotten worse, to the point where prints no longer stick (and the filament gums up outside the nozzle). We cannot tell if not enough filament is coming out, or if it is a zeroing problem. We have tried the first-layer calibration multiple times, and usually it works part of the way, and gums up the rest of the way. Please see below our most recent trial, where it began gumming up as it turns, and continues gumming up (we stopped it prior to the end to avoid further issues).
At this point, we're not sure what to do. We have cleaned the print bed with IPA multiple times as well. We have also tried printing a 9-box calibration (where it prints a box in the corners and the middle), but we can't even get the border of the boxes to stick!
The printer is about 1 year old. If you have any suggestions, they would be very much appreciated.

If it were My printer
I would:
1, Make sure that I was using 7x7 Mesh Bed Levelling (this is an option on the LCD Menu, that changed the bed probing from testing 9 points on the bed, to testing 49 points on the bed...
2, I would stop using IPA And use a little dish soap and hot water to wash the build plate vigorously then rinse well with hot water, and dry immediately with Plain Paper towels. and keeping your hands away from the build surface to keep it clean
3, I would re adjust the Live Z settings, Using

The Live Z values above are unique to my printer and My Build plate, but the values and the difference between the values will give you a clue as to what you need to change to change the first layer quality.

The cleaning and 7x7 worked like a charm! At least for the first layer calibration print. It looks like it caught some uneveness. We're doing a benchy now, and will come back to update!

We're having an issue where prints are failing because they get pulled off the build plate after a few hours of build time. It looks like the brims got pulled off:
So, we printed out the 3x3 calibration piece that was recommended from Prusa, and found that even though it looks mostly good - as shown below - we were still having a few problems.
Looking closer, we find:
above we see there are a few holes in the printing, and below we see that the lines are not adhered to each other:
Do these look good in general, or should we bring it down a little bit more? Any advice or thoughts would be greatly appreciated!
