Test Print

I’ve been trying to get my printer up and running, I haven’t had a successful print as of yet and was hoping someone would have some insight on my problem.

i have the original prusa i3 mk3s kit

assembly went fine, calibration went alright, but when I try to print the supplied test file from the sd (mk3s_PLA_Prusa_200..) I hit a problem at exactly 48% of the way through the print each time I attempt it (I tried slightly adjust the level with each print thinking maybe that was the issue, but no matter the level adjustment it can’t get past 48%). The left corner of the print begins to lift away from the bed and ends up detaching itself. Any common fix for this?

RE: Test Print

Hi, most of this kind of issue has the same causes : dirty bed or bad z offset. 1st clean the bed (in the sink like a plate) then check Z offset (probably too hight).

@flo-r

Thanks! I’ll be giving that a try. I’m currently trying to hunt down some IPA for cleaning. Every single store in my town is out of it but I got a lead on a shipment of it coming in at the end of the week, so hopefully that pans out :p
