Assembled from kit. It prints fine, which means that the PINDA is compensating as it should. But it still feels weird for the bed to be this uneven.

If you begin to see printing problems:

But as it's a new machine and will need time to settle down I suggest leaving it until you do your first month's maintenance session.

Cheerio,

Ok. I'll look more into that once it is time for maintenance. I was just curious if these kind of values are within normal range or has something gone wrong somewhere.

I might be a bit dense, but what is this pic and how did you create this? Am I doing something wrong with printing and printing and printing without ever having created any such whatever it is picture? No kidding, I have simply no idea....

Chris

I try to give answers to the best of my ability, but I am not a 3D printing pro by any means, and anything you do you do at your own risk. BTW: I have no food for…

My guess is that you need to do a z calibration.

Note that the two stepper motors for the z-axis is connected in parallel, so the printer can't control them individually.
z calibration may be needed from time to time and especially if you have turned the z axis rods manually, then they will be out of alignment and you must do a z calibration.

It is most likely the "Bed Visualizer" plugin for octoprint.
Side note: took me a while to figure out i had to check the flip y axis setting for front and back to not be reversed.

You are not doing anything wrong, it can be useful but it is not a must.

I had actually recently calibrated z axis and had not really touched it after. But still I'll do a maintenance soon, and will recalibrate all and see if that makes any difference.
